## **Stellavision episode 16 - AUGUST 14th 2020**

## PREPPING FOR PRIME DAY

Amazon smashed its Q2 earnings expectations, with revenue up 40%, as consumers relied heavily on the ecommerce site during the pandemic. This bodes well for Prime Day, which has grown each year since its inception. Likely to take place in October, Prime Day 2020 will kick off holiday shopping and offer a major opportunity for brands. In a must-attend webinar for brands on Amazon, Rina Yashayeva, VP of Marketplace strategy, focused on key strategies for winning on Prime Day. Packed with historical data, Rina’s presentation provided ways to navigate the unknown and prepare strategically.

Highlights included:

- - Prime Day timing
    - Top strategies for business success
    - How to prepare listings, inventory, and advertising
    - Necessary content optimizations
