ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, CLIENT STRATEGY

As Associate Director, Client Strategy you step into a leadership role, driving the development of campaign strategies and spearheading media strategy and planning efforts. Leveraging your advanced media knowledge and strategic acumen, you lead a team in crafting plans that effectively deliver clients' goals. Your role as a bridge between business goals and media tactics plays a pivotal part in our clients' success. You demonstrate the ability to adapt in a fast-moving industry and provide leadership across multiple clients and media channels within various categories. You are part of the media leadership team responsible for evaluating new partnerships that drive forward innovation on behalf of our brands.
Regular Responsibilities but not limited to:
- Cultivate and strengthen client connections by actively anticipating and resolving client needs enhancing growth and fostering long-term retention in the agency-client collaboration.
- Play a pivotal role in crafting comprehensive media recommendations aligned with client objectives, overseeing collaborative efforts within the team.
- Take a lead position in client interactions, managing media strategy, POVs, reporting, and daily communication for the designated client roster.
- Uncover media performance insights, craft the data-driven story for clients, and present in partnership with channel teams.
- Assume ownership of the research process for supporting client partnerships, ensuring its excellence, and strategic alignment.
- Act as a primary gatekeeper for all client-ready communications and deliverables, upholding an unwavering commitment to excellence.
- Lead cross-functional channel communication, ensuring seamless collaboration and alignment with client objectives, budgets, and overarching strategies.
- Oversee budgets and revenue, informing client lead any changes impacting forecasting or financial success of the agency.
- Display a proven ability to mentor and guide junior team members effectively, contributing to their continual skill advancement and fostering team success.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Mastery in cross-channel media tactics and planning.
- Proven ability to lead and foster team development including training and performance management.
- Mastery of research tools (MRI, Comscore, Pathmatics, eMarketer, etc.)
- Advanced understanding of media analytics.
- Basic understanding of digital ad operations.
- Proficiency with reporting tools (GA4, DCM, Datarama).
- Strategic thinker with the knowledge and experience to swiftly troubleshoot and address client needs.
- Excellent communication (including presentation skills) and collaboration skills (internal team & external clients)
- Strong management & organizational skills (people, projects, deadlines)
- High level understanding of media platforms (Meta, TikTok, Google and Programmatic)
- Expert knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.

Salary range: $105,000 - $125,000
