Senior Manager, Influencer Marketing

As Senior Manager, Influencer Marketing, you will lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of influencer marketing programs across multiple clients. You'll serve as the primary point of contact for creator partnerships while managing campaigns from start to finish, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and industry best practices. This position demands exceptional client communication skills, deep industry expertise, strong attention to detail and project management skills, and the ability to translate creator performance into actionable business strategies. This position will also be integral to the continued development of the Influencer practice at Stella Rising – a focus for the agency.

 

Regular Responsibilities, but not limited to:

Client Leadership & Strategy

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for influencer marketing across assigned brands, managing daily client communications and strategic planning in partnership with account team.
    • Lead influencer-centered client status calls and presentations, partnering with media teams to translate campaign performance data into clear business insights and strategic recommendations.
    • Develop and present comprehensive influencer strategies aligned to brand objectives, product launches, and key cultural moments.
    • Architect detailed Statements of Work (SOWs) and project scopes for influencer engagements, ensuring deliverables, usage rights, exclusivity clauses, and timelines are clearly defined.
    • Proactively identify opportunities to expand client influencer programs and innovate within the creator space.
    • Manage and pace influencer budgets effectively, ensuring alignment with client objectives and efficient resource allocation.

Influencer Marketing Relations

    • Manage influencer campaigns end-to-end, including sourcing and outreach, negotiating and contracting, briefing, managing timelines, content review, asset management with media teams, and payment processing.
    • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with creators, agents, and management teams.
    • Negotiate creator contracts with deep understanding of usage rights, exclusivity, deliverables, and FTC compliance requirements.
    • Ensure all campaigns meet brand guidelines, legal standards, and FTC disclosure requirements.
    • Develop comprehensive content briefs, aligning to campaign initiatives and business goals.
    • Manage content production and review processes, ensuring creator deliverables adhere to assigned brief parameters, platform best practices, and brand standards.
    • Organize and track brand budgets and influencer payments on a campaign-by-campaign basis, ensuring accurate and timely payment processing.
    • Collaborate with paid social, SEM, and creative teams to maximize influencer content amplification across channels.

Performance & Analytics

    • Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance across KPIs including reach, engagement, impressions, conversions, content quality, and cost efficiency.
    • Compile performance data into weekly, monthly, or campaign-specific reports with clear insights and recommendations.
    • Extract qualitative insights from creator content performance, interpreting data into actionable strategies for future campaigns.
    • Support test-and-learn initiatives across platforms, content formats, creator tiers, and partnership models.

Team Leadership & Development

    • Develop and refine internal processes, templates, and tools (briefs, reporting decks, outreach scripts, contract templates) to improve agency-wide efficiency.
    • Act as the departmental subject matter expert on influencer marketing, staying current on platform updates, creator trends, and FTC regulations.
    • Mentor junior team members on influencer strategy, client communication, and campaign execution as needed.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

    • Proven experience in influencer marketing with proven track record in strategy development, campaign management, and client communication.
    • Demonstrated experience managing high-touch client relationships and leading professional presentations and status calls.
    • Strong contract literacy with experience drafting and reviewing SOWs, usage rights agreements, and creator contracts.
    • Deep expertise across creator platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging social channels.
    • Proven ability to source, vet, and negotiate with creators, agents, and management teams.
    • Experience managing end-to-end influencer campaigns including briefing, content review, publication coordination, and payment processing.
    • Proficiency with influencer marketing platforms such as GRIN, Tagger, CreatorIQ, Upfluence, or similar tools.
    • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret campaign data, generate insights, and contribute to data-driven decision-making.
    • Proficiency in MS Office including Excel for budget tracking, PowerPoint for client presentations, and Word for contract/brief development.
    • Experience with analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics) to measure cross-channel performance and attribution.
    • Solid understanding of FTC disclosure requirements, usage rights, exclusivity clauses, and creator legal considerations.
    • Ability to integrate influencer activations into broader omnichannel marketing strategies.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to craft compelling creator briefs and client-facing materials.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple campaigns and clients simultaneously.
    • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work in a deadline-driven environment.
    • Proven experience using LLMs and automation tools to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
    • Relevant platform certifications (Meta Blueprint, TikTok Marketing certifications) highly encouraged.
