SOCIAL SEARCH SPECIALIST

As a result of growth, we are looking for a Social Search Specialist. The Social Search Specialist sits within our Search practice and is responsible for optimizing and repurposing social and video content that is discoverable, rankable, and tied to measurable business outcomes. We treat platforms like TikTok and YouTube as search engines and optimize content for how audiences actually search, including how AI driven discovery surfaces results. This is a search-led role, not a traditional social media management position. Success is measured by visibility, ranking, and business impact rather than by reach or virality alone. The ideal candidate already works at the intersection of search and video and thinks natively about discoverability and business impact. This role is best suited to someone who treats social as a search discipline and can speak fluently to how video content drives real outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop social and video content around search intent, mapping themes back to the informational topics audiences are searching for, much like a structured blog content cluster.
• Apply social search optimization principles, including lexical similarity, keyword insertion across titles, captions, on-screen text, and spoken script, and theme-based content planning that connects to search demand.
• Edit, optimize, and measure video content, owning the full process from production through performance analysis.
• Optimize video for discoverability across both native platform search and AI search and answer engines.
• Connect video performance to business impact, including brand search lift, website clicks, views, and engagement, and clearly articulate how content ladders up to meaningful results.

Qualifications

• Strong traditional SEO expertise, including keyword research, on-page optimization, content strategy, and a working understanding of how search engines operate. This is the foundation of the role.
• Hands-on video editing skills, with the ability to produce and refine video directly.
• Demonstrated experience optimizing video for discovery, including titles, descriptions, hooks, on-screen text, and metadata.
• Strong measurement and analytics skills, with the ability to interpret performance data and connect it to business results.
• A current, informed perspective on AI search and how content is ranked and cited within AI driven discovery.

Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,000 DOE
